DC: All right. And we're back. Are we live?

DG: Yeah, we're live.

DC: Okay. This is a special episode. We have a special guest here. Who are you?

Maggie: What's up? This is Maggie.

DG: Wow. What are we going to call Maggie?

DC: I don't know.

DG: DC's their uncle, DG aka the nephew. We need Maggie.

DC: I'm the uncle at aka DC.

DG: Maggie's the niece. crosstalk.

Maggie: The niece? crosstalk.

DG: Maggie's the niece.

DC: I don't know, she's not niece status yet.

DG: Oh, you got to put up the numbers.

DC: Not yet. We have to see the numbers.

DG: I want to do the intro for this one. crosstalk.

DC: Niece in waiting.

DG: I want to do the intro for this one. Cause you're not always good at remembering and going back in history. So for months now, DC has been hitting me up about this vision for making Seeking Wisdom, something bigger. Right? How do we make it into a platform? We have so many different, interesting people here doing different things across Drift, across other people we know. First we launched a marketing show, okay. Now we're back. This is the next dropping. This is that we're passing the crown to Maggie now. That's all I can say. crosstalk.

DC: The chain. It's a Jay Z, Kanye thing.

DG: So why Maggie? crosstalk.

DC: Jay Z gave Kanye the chain and then they had a war later. So you later you'll come back and kill us.

Maggie: Yeah, Is it good? Is it bad? crosstalk.

DC: Yeah, sure.

DG: I'm not going to laugh in the microphone. Why? Okay. Why Maggie? Before we talk about the show, why Maggie?

DC: All right. If you're watching the video, there's subtle product placement here. This is a joke. We don't do product placement on Seeking Wisdom, but we did this as a joke, have to watch it on YouTube to see what we're talking about. So we did an internal audition on auditions at drift, and we had people submit ideas for a show and some show reels and Maggie, young Maggie Crowley, over on our product team, submitted something and it was pretty good.

DG: It was pretty good. Dc kept hitting me up," Did you listen to Maggie? Did you listen to Maggie's?". I'm like, I didn't listen. Okay." Now listen to Maggie's"

Maggie: I think I even got a" nice work".

DG: "Nice work"? from DC? crosstalk.

Maggie: Yeah. crosstalk.

DC: I must've been wild that day.

DG: Yeah. At least he didn't say," cool". crosstalk.

DC: Cool. Usually, means crosstalk.

DG: IF you ever get a" cool" from DC. crosstalk.

DC: That's bad. crosstalk.

DG: Go do it again.

DC: Yeah.

DG: So what's the show about?

Maggie: The show is all about building. You guys are going deep on accelerating, learning more broadly. You're talking about marketing and I think there's a bunch of people out there who are in product. We want to know what the secret is. So I'm here to show the community, the secrets.

DG: And fun fact. Maggie, what is your role at Drift?

Maggie: Product manager.

DG: You're a product manager and you also have a degree, a master's in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Maggie: Yes.

DC: He speaks at Harvard Business School and doesn't know what the A is for.

DG: I'm a guest lecturer, highest rated speaker, three years running shutout, Julia Austin. So, DC said he doesn't hire PM's who are MBAs. You broke that mold and you're doing a podcast here crosstalk.

DC: Silence crosstalk.

Maggie: Yep. It's still a test.

DG: Every day is a test, I'm still on a test. crosstalk.

DC: He's still on probation.

Maggie: Yeah.

DG: I love it. So I'm excited because I've heard a little bit about what you're working on. I'm really excited. So here's the deal. Just like the marketing show is going to be# marketing, so you'll see it in the feed. When Maggie's episode comes up, it's going to be# build and you're going to have music.

Maggie: Yep.

DG: Right? The music is going to sound a little bit like this. Nice flavor, I've heard it before.

DC: Yeah.

DG: And yeah, you'll start hearing from Maggie regularly. Give us a little sneak peek of episodes 1 and 2, what are you talking about?

Maggie: We're going to break down failures in products. We're going to break down some best practices and why they don't matter. Got a really awesome interview with Martin Erickson and from Mind their product, that we just teed up today. So, a lot of good stuff, hoping to also hear from the community, what they want to hear, what they want to learn, any secrets I can steal from DC.

DC: Let's see. I'm still working on one secret. So, one thing that we're going to do is, we're going to, as DG just said, we're going to hashtag them all. So all of Maggie's episodes would be# build, yours are# marketing, this one has no hashtag, we're hashtag- less. So, if you only want to listen to Maggie and you're tired of listening to the two of us, you can listen to the#build or vice versa. But you know you want to listen to this.

DG: Of course, All you product nerds out there, you're going to love this. You're going to love this show.
